Student Alumni Society
The mission of the Nichols College Student Alumni Society (SAS) is to promote the interests of and understanding between Nichols College students of the past, present and future. SAS provides students with leadership opportunities and experiences that enhance their education and promote Nichols College spirit through involvement in campus, community and alumni activities. Their motto is Student Today, Bison Forever!
SAS is an active member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Affiliated Student Advancement Programs (ASAP). This organization allows SAS members to network with students from colleges and universities worldwide while understanding the importance of making a difference on campus through student involvement. Jackie Killah '15, former president, and Sean Hoey '16, chair of programming, presented to over 75 students at the CASE ASAP National Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana in Spring 2013. SAS received the CASE ASAP District 1 Outstanding External Program for The Gift of Opportunity (TGOP).

Student Engagement & Philanthropy Day
Last year, more than 120 organizations in the U.S., United Kingdom, Singapore, South Africa, Mexico and Australia organized activities and events on their campuses to enhance awareness and engagement of philanthropy to students. Students are asked to make a gift to support their future alma mater and will have an opportunity to meet with alumni from various companies.
The Gift of Opportunity
This will be the third year in which SAS hosts a week-long program inspired by kindness. Each day will bring a new activity or event that focuses on philanthropy. With events such as Random Acts of Kindness, Donor Appreciation Day, and the always popular, Spike the Bison volleyball tournament, the campus comes alive in support of the Nichols community.
